Great info about arthritis in dogs. My dog had surgery a couple of years ago on her knee and has been on glucosamine ever since. It has been LIFE CHANGING for her. She cannot go with out or she is in terrible pain.

Thanks for all of the useful info on arthritis in dogs. Our own dog is still relatively young, but I know from previous dogs that this can be a real problem as they get older.
I thought I would say the information supplied on this website is very helpfull and I thought I would write a quick post to say thankyou, my dog has severe arthiritis and suffers a lot but seeing some of the info here it has really helped.

I have two dogs, and thanks to this site, I’ll know the signs to look out for so I can tell when they start having arthritis problems, which they no doubt will one day since they are so active! Especially my Terrior, my goodness… the energy in that one!

I have found that I get a steady stream of quality comments with these plugins.
Good to spread the keyword luv. A great little tool for generating links for everyone involved
CommentLuv and KeywordLuv are good options to improve the perfomance of the blog, and reward the commentator with a backlink. The amount of content of a blog can be multiplied many times during the years with comments.

I have a small jack russel mix with chiwawa . It is about 2 years old, but it had a broken back leg which she limps on every once in a while. When it is cold the way she moves indicates that she might be suffering from arthritis. Should i be concern?

I would definitely ask your vet if it is arthritis. Since your dog is young you could get a good jump on stopping the progression of arthritis, if that is what is occurring. By starting a glucosamine supplement now, you may make your pup more comfortable in the future.
Wonderful site, I wish I had found it sooner. My parents dog suffered tremendouly from arthritis, couldn’t walk at the end. We’ll miss you Shogun . . .
As my Silky Terrier has gotten older I have noticed that he is moving slower and refuses to jump down off the bed. He probably has arthritis so it is nice to get information about this subject!
